HIGH SCHOOL SOPHOMORES:
If you are interested in applying to be a leader, you must complete an application consisting of:
- LEADER APPLICATION: You must complete the online Leader Application, consisting of personal information, a couple of short answer questions, and an essay. Please click the below link for access to the LEADER APPLICATION. You must fill out the entire application in one sitting. Plan on spending about one hour to complete this application.
- PARENT/GUARDIAN SECTION: In addition, your parent/guardian must fill out the online Parent/Guardian Section. Again, this must be completed in one sitting. It should not take more than 20 minutes to complete.
- TEACHER RECOMMENDATIONS: Lastly, two adults need to fill out an online recommendation form for you. One of these adults must be one of your current academic teachers. The other adult must be an individual affiliated with your school in some way (e.g., coach, counselor, club advisor, other teacher, principal, etc.). Please tell your recommenders about the online form as soon as possible because it may take them a few days to complete. Again, this recommendation form must be completed in one sitting. It should not take more than 20 minutes to complete.

Thank you very much for your interest in getting involved with Leadership Scholars. There are ample opportunities to volunteer and work with Leadership Scholars.

Volunteers: We are actively recruiting dedicated volunteers to help the leaders and scholars continue to develop. If you are committed to developing the inner-city Cincinnati community, we can find a way to leverage your talents and skills through our program. We have diverse volunteer opportunities in areas ranging from coaching and tutoring to public relations, videography, and event planning. If you would like to add value to Leadership Scholars through volunteering, please click on the above link to get involved.
Internships/Employment: Leadership Scholars is currently in its second year of operations. As such, we are still experiencing a tremendous amount of growth and innovation. If you thrive in entrepreneurial environments or would really like to experience a dynamic, stimulating work environment, please consider interning with Leadership Scholars. We also have a few employment opportunities for educators during the summer (we are not accepting any more applications for the summer program this year).
