PARTNERS OF LEADERSHIP SCHOLARS

Leadership Scholars collaborates with numerous individuals and organizations in order to effectively establish our community, the Leadership Scholars Family, and develop all of the leaders and scholars. Please find below some of the organizations with which we partner:

XAVIER UNIVERSITY: Leadership Scholars works very closely with Xavier University. We host all of our monthly workshops and our four-week summer camp on Xavier University's campus. We work closely with Dr. Mike Flick, the Director of the Xavier Center for Excellence in Education (XCEED) and Xavier University Center for Catholic Education (XUCCE). In addition, we work with Krista Warner, Nancy Downing, Betty Porter, Jim Ray, Leslie Dulle, and Marsha Karagheusian-Murphy, among others. Father Michael Graham is in support of Leadership Scholars, and he even spoke to the leaders and scholars during our summer program in 2008. Leadership Scholars is very appreciative of the long-term partnership that it has with Xavier and looks forward to working with Xavier's outstanding faculty and administrators for numerous years to come!

CATHOLIC INNER-CITY SCHOOLS for EDUCATION (CISE): Eight of the nine grade schools with which Leadership Scholars has partnered are members of CISE. Leadership Scholars has formed a long-term partnership with CISE, which is a very important and well-run organization that provides much-needed assistance for its eight inner-city grade schools. We have an excellent relationship with the Director of CISE, Cary Powell, Chairman, Robert Hodge, and several other members of the staff and board of CISE.

GRADE SCHOOLS: Leadership Scholars works very closely with all of our grade school partners. Each grade school hosts a weekly meeting of leaders and scholars. In addition, the principal and one other individual, who serves as a coordinator, are rather involved in Leadership Scholars. The involvement of the principal and coordinator at each school is absolutely essential to the success of Leadership Scholars. As such, we have partnered with the following grade schools:

HIGH SCHOOLS: Leadership Scholars also works closely with all of our partnering high schools. The high schools provide Leadership Scholars with outstanding leaders who serve as mentors to the grade school students. As is the case with the grade schools, the principal and one other individual, who serves as a coordinator, are rather involved in Leadership Scholars. Leadership Scholars has partnered with the following high scools:
